Filigree artist Yehuda Tassa's Yemenite filigree and granualation workshops are perfect for jewelers of all levels, from pure beginner to advanced metalsmith. The one-on-one teaching approach allows you to create projects of your own design, at your own pace. See examples of what other students have created.

Granulation Workshops
Granulation is a method of decorating metal with tiny metallic pieces. Tiny pieces of metal are fused to the surface to form a pattern. In this 3-day workshop, learn the history, background and basics of granulation. Methods of creating granules, glue formula preparation and fusing practices will be covered. Project designs will be discussed. Day one make a pair earrings, day two a pendent and on the optional third day you can choose your own project. Materials fee of $75 is paid to instructor first day of class.
